i m feeling so tired right now. *yawns* i slept at 1+ am this morning after chatting with my fren over the phone. after that chat, i realised that we cannot judge some1 by their outlook. many a time, we will tend to trust the impression that were left on us the very first time we meet someone. thats y there’s a saying that the first impression counts alot. 1 might seem friendly, kind, out-going. But actually he might be having never-ending motives behind everything that he does. on the other hand, some1 might have attitude problems, or any other problems that another person cannot stand. but actualy, if u know him/her well enough, u might find what u thought was wrong. he/she might actually feel insecure or mistrust everything that is going on ard.  i wonder if every1 have an attitude problem. my fren once told mii, when someone mentions that u have an attitude problem, they, actually have it themselves. but i m wondering,agian, how true is this statement. sometimes, i wonder if i m doing the right things. other times, i regret what i’ve done. really regret it. it seems that lady luck never stood by my side. which means almost everything happens against mii. right now, i m trying to change for the better what might be my future, n its hard work. i wonder if i should give it up or just hang in there. *sighs*

My kelvin k0rk0r birthday coming lia0s. its on 11 oct. n he said he going to celebrate with his best fren by going out. hope that they will have gd fun. *laughs*

die! i dun know how to do my maths. i m stuck just at the fundamentals of the topic: Differentiation. i cant understand what the teacher is talking abt just for this topic. but luckily, i have my EEEC seniors to teach mii. earlier during lunch, i asked si kai to teach mii maths, & he taught 2 qns. i think he seems quite fierce. n part of his reason was cuz i got easily distracted.

i think i will write till here as i have nth more to write. XD *laughs*

Woke up at ard 5.30 this morning, bathed & ate an egg tart before going to meet wilson & jonathan @ 179 bus stop at 6.30. both wilson n 1 were on time, but jonathan was late for ard 5 mins. if he came down earlier, we would have taken the 179 bus to Boon Lay Interchange. but because of him coming down to meet us at a ltr time, we missed the long awaited n rare bus!! arrgh. after meeting, we sat on the bench n waited for the bus. but after what seemed like 10 mins, we decided to head for the 243 bus stop. this whole process was exactly what we went through on the day of the previous grading. when we were nearing the bus stop, another 243 bus approached the stop opp the 1 we were heading for. we managed to dash across the road for the bus! phew. we met up with jack, grace, wen jun & joanna at the control station.

When we reached Kovan CC, both minyi n i were the first 2 to be graded before every1 else cuz she had smth on n had to go off early. luckily, i managed to rmb every move of my pattern.

After the whole grading session, i waited for eileen & we went to Orchard(hereen) with Dexter. she went there to buy clothes. hahas. den we spent almost the whole time cineleisure playing with SCDF dogs. they r just so cute. there were total 3 dogs. i will upload the pics into friendster when i get it from dexter. n i found out that actually 2 of the many SCDF ppl stays in my estate! no wonder they look somewhat familiar!

We(SPEEEC) ppls met at the SP rock-climbing wall. But, since i hate walking into the school alone, i met up with both Jason n Allen at the bridge from Dover MRT station to SP. We walked in tgt. When we reached the clubhse, there isnt any first years. there was only mii, Melvynn, Allen & Jason. so we decided to sit near the rock climbing wall. soon, Jason said he wanted to buy his breakfast, so we walked to ‘BangDeli’. after that, we sat at FC5 n chatted. we chat all abt the past camp experience all that. Time past really fast. soon, it was abt 10 n we decided to get back to the rock-climbing wall. we met the rest of the ppl there. Soon, after those R&R(rules n regulation, and intro of the gameplay) we started the game. Our first destination is to the library. Next was the FC1. After these 2 destinations, we have to move out of SP, and that is to rafflescity. Our clue given showed a pic of stamford raffles with a glismpe of some tall buildings behind. At first sight, i thought it was the statue that stood at the entrance of Victoria theatre. But soon enough, when we where abt to reach out destination, i realised we were heading not for the statue that stood at VT. i was so disappointed at myself. i felt i was being a burden right den, leading every1 the wrong way under the hot sun. Actually, our destination for that particular clue was to head to RafflesCity. And den, another situation of mii being a burden showed itself again. We were suppose to headhunt any third years spotted in RafflesCity. XinYi said we should go to the basement as they might be there. but i gave the idea that we should go to the upper floors. so we proceeded on going up. after countless times of searching the upper floors, we proceeded on going down to the basement, and there they, shuhui n geswin, are sitting by the fountain. i felt so guilty, leading every1 the wrong way again. Soon after, our next destination was to go to suntec city to find benny n jiawen. there station was the most fun. we had to take the given list by them to go to the Carrefour hyper market to check out the prices for the items listed. While there, the funniest thing that happened was that Johnson they all took food samples to eat. from the game station to the Carrefour, we had to run all the way to save time, that’s when i became a burden once again. my stamina isn’t gd n my leg was having a tired out feeling as i had TKD training ytd. so every now & then when i was lagging behind, either terence or sikai will have to slow down to wait for mii to catch up. i felt i was pulling every1 back. this goes on throughout the gameplay. finally, when it all ended, our last stop was at VIVOcity’s rooftop where there are those shallow water pools. my grp came in the last. i think its all cuz of mii again. anyway, we were sabotaged by the seniors. they asked us all to stand on a piece of black cloth. next, they kicked water at us, making us all wet. den we took lots of pics.

I m going to have my TKD grading tml. if i pass, i will be blue-brown lers. hope i rmb every step of my pattern n get a pass tml. so afraid that i might fail.

Just 2 days back(saturday), i was walking along the shops in Parkway Parade with my family when i came to this shop at the basement which sells customized shoes. They used fabric paints on the shoes & drew their own design on it. Den, it suddenly occured to mii that i can do something similar as i have the same pair of plain white shoes that they used, at home. Once i got home, ideas keep swirling in my head, but i have to try out a simple & easy-to-paint drawing as its my first time trying to paint on such fabric other than my batik painting(for my ‘o’ levels in 2006). finally, i came up with an idea that i can paint my name on the shoe as well. i used pencil to sketch out the idea that came into mind. very soon, the whole pair of shoe reflects on my designs. :)) den came the next slightly difficult part. can kind of colour m i going to use & will there be a background colour for it? The next day, my family & i went to Plaza Singapura(as there’s a shop,spotlight, that sells as sorts of craft materials.) it took mii some time to reconsider choosing the colours. my first choice at home was to colour it orange(as it is my favourite colour) & yellow, den paint the background black. but once i m at the shop, i changed my choice to lime green & bright yellow. the cost of 1 bottle of fabric paint is $7.40. in total, i bought 2 bottles of paint & 1 tube of puffy & glittery green fabric paint. Once i got home, i started on my designs. it took mii ard 3 hrs for completion of my shoes.

OH NO! i m having a PEEE practical exam today & i haven even studied yet. i’m dead meat now. but looking on the gd side, we r being tested on the parallel & series circuit, & not on any such thing that requires the use of oscilloscope. haha! XD but bad point is that i will be under the first badge of my class to take the exam. but worst of all, i didnt being the PEEE textbook with mii this morning. so i cant really refresh my memory on all those setups. :((

I had my TKD training last night. now that the pattern tournament is over, trainings have resumed to the timing of 7pm, instead of 6pm. YongWei taught us on the techniques on sparring(both on defending & attacking). i learnt quite alot, especially on the attacking part. the attacking part consists of 2 types of actions. the first 1 needs a switch of legs when u first attacked with either 1 of ur leg. In this case, u can use both either short or long turning kick when needed. for example, if ur opponent ‘comes in’ after u first attacked him with ur turning kick, den u can slide back & give him a long turning kick. Whereas, if ur opponent backs away from u, u can give him an attack of short turning kick. personally, i prefer to give my opponents short turning kicks as the speed of bringing up ur leg(launching kicks) will be much faster as distance covered is lesser. right now, i m still training my kicks(aiming to acomplish a double turning kick). After quite a number sets of kicking(both on defending & attacking, he told us that we will tell us personally on what kind of kicks & style should we launch during sparring. ytd, he picked out a few of them to tell them abt it. he said those that he picked out have a habit of using only 1 style of kick. eg. short turning all the way, or flying turning etc. he wanted to guide them on how to improve better on their 1 kick. i wasn’t picked out by him ytd. by friday, we can the white belts r allowed to spar. yes! i can spar with them soon liao. :))

i sparred with WeiQiang(wq) & BoonSiang(bs) & light contact sparring with Serene last night. wow! both of them (WeiQiang & BoonSiang) has different challenging points for mii to overcome. Firstly, bs has much longer legs than mine as he is practically 1 head taller than mii. i feel so short standing beside him. but nevertheless, i still liked sparring with him. yippy! i think i m going to spar again on friday. :)) oh ya. i just injured myself again last night during training. when i sparred with serene, i used my unclenched fist to block. cause of doing this, i ended up having smth like a sprained hand. the side of my hand just above the wrist is greatly in pain now. i can use the full force of it. next, i whole shin is in pain. i cant even use the strength of it too(just like my poor hand). eg. i cant stoop down, i cant stand on 1 leg etc. sobs… :(( but no pain no gain!. haha. i just wish now that it will heal faster. & i hope that this type of pain wun be permanent.

I personally think its a nice piece of art work. haha! XD i admire my own ‘artwork’ or rather collage. first time doing this sort of things. i think its quite fun. haha! :))

…(continued) Although after quite a number of hours, i still feel so satisfied n elated at my groups performance but seriously, i think this time our team got gold based quite abit on luck. reason for mii saying this is that, 1 of the team consists of a whole grp of indonesia & phillipina maids + 1 indian guy. based on this, their standard cant really be that high to be competed with.

we nearly got silver if we didnt clearify with our seniors when they announced that we gt silver instead of our expecting gold. was really sad at first when we once knw that we got silver instead of gold. cuz, being expected, it means that we already knew our points awarded by the judges( sir stanley & sir simpson) & we already compared it with our opponents. but what shocked us greatly was that we got silver instead of gold! even simpson gave that kind of shocked n confused expression when he got that news. but after going up on stage to recieve that silver trophy with that downcast emotion, i got off the stage bursting into tears. i just couldn’t bear to part with my gold trophy! but at last, Subash went looking for those ppl from Bishan & found only 3 of them. they followed him back up to the hall where jason guo explained to them that it was all a mistake n we ought to exchange back to our rightful trophys. but sadly, we only found 3 of the 5 participants in that grp. which means, only 3 of us can take home the gold. so it ended in a way that only mii, Subash & Bryan took home the gold. Wei Qiang & Ken have to wait till next tuesday or so when Sir Robin comes down to SPTKD & pass them their gold. After getting 3 of our trophys, Wei Qiang n Ken borrowed 2 gold from another team & we took pics  with our dearest coach, sir simpson. haha! my story of gold ends here. hope to take part in more TKD tournaments infuture! XD

After so many days of tough training in preparation for our whampoa pattern tournament, we have finally clinched that gold throphy. all thx to my greatest coach simpson n my lovely green-belt pattern team consisting of Bryan, Subash, Wei Qiang & Ken. glad every1 had put in their best effort. …(To Be Continued)

What a night! mii, my mo gu jie jie(guo shu), wei jie, wilson, n jonathan had a great chat last night. i nv had any such long chat at night in quite some time. the feeling was great. but the whole of ytd was rather tiring. i woke up at 9.15 in the morning. i had to go to sp to find wilson, leon n yong hui to accompany them sun padding. i met them at ard 9.45am. next, after meeting joanna, jason n jonathan, we went to yong wei’s hse to visit him at ard 1pm. after that, we went to have a very late lunch at bukit panjang plaza to eat at the foodcourt. after eating, mii, mo gu jie jie, wilson, wei jie n jonathan went to marina to look at the  NDP 2007 rehearsals. wow. it was so cool. this yr its like water theme. i finally had the chance to see the chinook up close! to mii, it’s rather cool. the chinook flew in the air from a distance, den it was getting closer n closer to the bay(the bay in between the floating stadium n the esplanade). as the chinook got nearer to the water, the waters were spraying up. the effects was great. it was so beautiful n wonderful. next in line was the army speedboats n the police coastal guards’ speed boat. the way they controlled the boat too was wonderful. they had to turn in a way of a big circle. to be able to do that, they had to swirve to boat n the whole boat was slanted in a way that 1 side of it is almost touching the surface of the waters. every1 was going ‘oooh’ n ‘wow’. the next fascinating thing was the helicopter. i m not sure which is it, but i think its the black hawk. they had 2 of it. the way they manuvere the heli was cool too. they held stationary in air. everything was so wonderful. we didnt manage to catch a glimspe of the parade as there was rather a big crowd at the bay. rather sad. the parade ended at ard 7 plus or 8. we went to marina square’s mac to have our dinner. we also chatted at the same time. i nv had such a great time in a long time. the good feeling is really hard to decribe(just as what my mo gu jiejie said) i m looking forward to have this kind of chat again.

my grading is round the corner. i m so afraid that i might fail cuz of my sparring part. i m not very gd in sparring. n whats worse is that it’s light contact sparring. oh no. :X i m so used to sparring with padding on. but luckily, there’s still guards on. thank god! phew! i must pass for my grading! i m feeling so excited now that my grading n pattern tournament is coming up. i must practice very hard for these 2 events. jia yous to myself!
